Turkey Verzaola - not the usual bresaola by Verza Salumi is the new handmade product of our Valligiana line, this is one of the rarest product that you can find between the cured meat product.
The “Turkey Verzaola†is a very special product, unique in its kind because the turkey meat is seasoned like a salami and not cooked like a roast.
In this way we obtain a product with a delicate flavour with low fat and low calories, suitable for all diets and for all ages.
The Turkey Verzaola - not the usual bresaola by Verza Salumi is made only with 100% Italian turkey breast and, to respect the same philosophy of our cured meat product, it is without: gluten, allergens, polyphosphate, milk protein and its derivatives.
The latest product from the Verza company is one of the rarest products in the context of matured meat products. This project has taken us almost two years to complete and has led to an evolution of our production method combined with meticulous research and the careful selection of the meats and spices used. Starting from 100% Italian turkey breast, we have obtained a unique product. The turkey breasts are salted and massaged by hand for several days and then, after being marinated for a short time in selected spices, they are cased, tied and left to mature for at least two months during which time the turkey breast loses more than 45% of its weight. In this way, we obtain a product with a delicate and refined taste, that is very lean, has a very low fat content and few calories (only 180 Kcal per 100 gr). Suitable for all types of diet and for every age, it is excellent as a starter, as a snack, in a sandwich and for every type of dish.
